Patent number: 12085407Abstract: A 3D map comprising sensor data items depicting the environment is updated, each sensor data item having one or more associated variables such as a pose of a capture device or a position of a landmark. A graph is calculated from sensor data items. The graph comprises nodes and edges, a node representing at least one variable in the received sensor data items and an edge representing relationships between variables. The graph is partitioned into a plurality of subgraphs so as to reduce a number of variables that are shared between subgraphs. Each of the plurality of subgraphs is allocated to a respective worker node. At each worker node, updated values of the variables are computed. The process updates values of variables which are shared between subgraphs to a common value using a consensus process. The 3D map of the environment is updated according to the updated values of the variables.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 2022Date of Patent: September 10, 2024Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLC.Inventors: Christoph Vogel, Jan-Willem Buurlage, Johannes Lutz Schonberger, Juan Ignacio Nieto Couadeau, Marc Andre Leon Pollefeys, Timon Esli Knigge, Marcel Nicolas Geppert

Patent number: 10374352Abstract: A patchboard having at least four socket blocks and at least one fastening element, wherein the individual box-shaped socket blocks are arranged in relation to each other in such a way that each socket block is connected to at least one further socket block in both x and y directions, end and side faces of the socket blocks each have at least one connection region for connecting to another socket block. A fastening element is arranged in the center between four socket blocks and is a pin having a gear-shaped cross-section having four ridge-shaped teeth, a groove being formed on each of the four longitudinal edges of the individual socket blocks, which grooves have a first section and at least one second section adjoining the first section. The pin can be rotated about its longitudinal axis when the pin is arranged in the second section of the grooves.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2017Date of Patent: August 6, 2019Assignee: PHOENIX CONTACT GMBH & CO. Patent number: 10211548Abstract: A patchboard having a plurality of socket blocks (2), each of which has a box-like housing (3) with two end faces (4a, 4b) and four side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) which extend between the end faces (4a, 4b), the two end faces (4a, 4b) of the socket blocks (2) having at least one connection region (6). An increased degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to individual user requests is achieved due to each of at least two side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of the socket blocks (2) having at least one latching element for connection to another socket block (2), and by at least one termination element (11) being arranged on at least one side of the patchboard (1), the termination element (11) having a mating latching element on at least one side face (12, 12b) for connecting the termination element to an adjacent socket block (2).Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2016Date of Patent: February 19, 2019Assignee: PHOENIX CONTACT GMBH & CO. Patent number: 10199752Abstract: A patchboard includes a plurality of honeycomb components which each have a box-shaped housing having two faces and four side surfaces. The two faces each have a connection region. At least two of the side surfaces have a latching element for connecting to another honeycomb component, and at least two of the honeycomb components have different cross-sections. The width and/or height of a honeycomb component having a larger cross-section is a multiple of the width and/or height of a honeycomb component having a smaller cross-section. The number of latching elements of a side surface having a greater width or greater height of a honeycomb component having a larger cross-section is a corresponding multiple of the number of latching elements of a side surface having a smaller width or smaller height of a honeycomb component having a smaller cross-section.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2016Date of Patent: February 5, 2019Assignee: PHOENIX CONTACT GMBH & CO.
