  • Publication number: 20260021567
Abstract: An electric tool includes a drive unit for driving a tool unit in an operating state. A connection unit with at least one connection contact element transmits electrical energy from an energy supply device of the electric tool to the drive unit. A fan unit generates an air flow. A housing accommodates the drive unit, the connection unit, and the fan unit. A first air passage opening and a second air passage opening are formed on the housing. The first and second air passage openings are connected to one another with the fan unit via a duct for guiding the air flow along a flow direction. The duct is defined in sections by the connection unit and guides the air flow to dissipate heat generated at the connection unit from the housing while in the operating state. The electric tool is operable by a method.

  • Patent number: 12502801
Abstract: A handheld, portable work apparatus includes a housing defining an interior space, a drive motor arranged in the housing for driving a tool, a brake device assigned to the tool, a hand guard, and a switching unit which is arranged in the interior space of the housing for detecting the position of the brake device. The hand guard is arranged outside the housing and has an actuation contour for actuating the switching unit. The housing has an elastic element. The hand guard, the elastic element and the switching unit are arranged relative to one another such that the switching unit can be actuated by the elastic element being pushed in via the actuation contour of the hand guard.

  • Publication number: 20250381657
Abstract: A housing part for a portable tool, in particular for a portable motor-driven electric tool, and/or for a power supply device of a portable electric tool, has a functional structure for absorbing an impact energy during a collision process. The functional structure has a contact section that is arranged and configured to directly absorb the impact energy and to carry out a deformation. The functional structure has a deformation zone that is arranged at the contact section and configured to receive a deformation of the contact section. The functional structure has a stop section that is arranged and configured to limit the deformation of the contact section and to transfer at least a part of the impact energy. A portable motor-driven electric tool can include at least one such housing part.
