  • Patent number: 4323927
Abstract: The invention relates to a bar for printing an image. It comprises a stack of conductive plates which are insulated from one another in which one end of each forms a printing stylus and n diagonal matrices for addressing the styli whose columns are constituted by plates and are fed via resistors formed on the plates and whose rows common to the n matrices are constituted by electric conductors connected to the columns via diodes which are also formed on the plates.

Date of Patent: April 6, 1982
Assignee: Compagnie Industrielle des Telecommunications Cit-Alcatel
Inventors: Marcel Yvard, Jean-Claude Decuyper, Michel Beduchaud
  • Patent number: 4199789
Abstract: A document analyser for analyzing a document along successive analysis lines as the document moves past the generally stationary analyzer. The analyzer illuminates said document along an analysis line, optically a sensor receives the image of the analysis line which is projected onto the sensitive surface of the sensor. In accordance with the invention, an optical element and the sensor are optically aligned and held rigidly in relation to one another by a common rigid support which is stirrup-shaped and with which they constitute a preset optical assembly. Application to transmission of facsimile signals.

  • Patent number: 4180824
Abstract: The present invention relates to a printing bar with a plurality of styli (10) for printing an image. It includes a first network of conductive tapes (1) insulated from one another and in which one end of each of them forms a printing stylus (10) and n diagonal matrices for addressing the styli whose columns are formed by the conductive tapes (1) of this first network and are fed via resistances (R) in electric contact with the tapes (1) of said first network and in which the rows common to the n matrices are formed by conductive tapes (7) of a second network and are connected to the columns via diodes (D) connected in the columns or in the rows.Application: a facsimile transmission installation.

  • Patent number: 3949406
Abstract: Radioelectric antennas for hertzian beams with construction simplifying the manufacturing of a horn for such an antenna whose inside surface is corrugated. The horn comprises an outside sheet metal support on the inside of which is installed, one beside another, a great number of rings, having a shape such that two adjacent rings form a corrugation. Such structure enables economical manufacturing and facilitates adapting to various shapes of corrugations in the same horn.
