  • Patent number: 7544333
Abstract: A device for the fluidized bed cracking of a hydrocarbon charge using two reaction chambers linked together by a cooling particles transferrer, a fractionating column and conduits to supply the hydrocarbonated effluents from each of the two chambers to the fractionating column. The fractionating column has, internally, at least two different areas: a first partitioned fractionating area in the form of two compartments, each of which communicates with a second common fractionating area. The conduits for the supply of effluents from the first and the second reaction chamber terminate, respectively, in the first and second compartment of the partitioned fractionating area. A recycler and an injector are provided for recycling and injecting into one of the reaction chambers of at least one cut drawn off from the partitioned fractionating compartment of the effluents of the other reaction chamber.

  • Patent number: 6869576
Abstract: A process for hydrotreating a hydrocarbon feedstock (1) involving the use of at least one hydrotreatment, particularly hydrodesulfurization, reactor (2) and a fractionation unit (3), which latter contains two distinct injection zones (4, 5) for the hydrocarbon feedstocks, a common zone (8) of vaporization of the light fractions and two distinct draw-off lines (6, 7) for the liquid bottoms; the hydrocarbon feedstock (1) being subjected to a preliminary treatment either in a first hydrodesulfurization reactor (20) the operating conditions of which (P, T, LHSV) may be different from those of the hydrotreatment reactor (2), or in a sweetening apparatus or else in a sulfur trap, the hydrocarbon feedstock being then injected into the first injection zone (4) of the fractionation unit (3), the liquid bottoms being removed through the draw-off line (6) of the injection zone (4) and passed into a hydrotreatment reactor (2), the effluents from said reactor (2) being injected into a second injection zone (5) of the frac

  • Publication number: 20040211704
Abstract: This present invention concerns a procedure for cracking, in a fluidized bed, a hydrocarbon charge wherein the cooling particles, which may optionally also be catalytic particles, circulate in two successive reaction chambers (1; 16), in each of which they are brought into contact with at least one cut of hydrocarbons, and the reaction effluents from each of said chambers are directed towards one and the same fractionating unit.

The effluents from each of the reaction chambers (1; 16) are fractionated in part separately in one and the same partially partitioned fractionating unit, and at least one cut (12) obtained by separately fractionating the effluents from one of the two reaction chambers (1; 16) is, as a whole or in part, reinjected into the other chamber.

  • Patent number: 4148749
Abstract: Process for regenerating hydrocarbon conversion catalysts, particularly for reforming and isomerization, which comprises superhalogenating the deactivated catalysts, burning the accumulated coke in a controlled manner preferably in a series of steps at different temperatures and oxygen percentages with an oxygen containing gas stream; treating the combusted catalyst with a further gas stream containing oxygen and a halogen (preferably chlorine), and thereafter reducing the catalyst with hydrogen in the practical absence of oxygen.
