  • Publication number: 20150292188
Abstract: A toilet bowl useful in a system for disposal of liquid, solid and semi-solid wastes comprises a bowl, a rim, a base, and multiple sections including a rear section with a first opening allowing greywater to wash the front of the bowl, two side sections having a second opening on the right and a third opening on the left allowing greywater to wash each side of the bowl, and a front section having a fourth opening to allow greywater to wash the front of the bowl and create a vortex. Also presented is a modified mixer valve useful for disposal of wastes comprising a valve base, valve body, a water outlet orifice located at the end of the valve body, a cold water inlet orifice, a hot water inlet orifice, an internal conduit where the cold and hot water inlet orifices converge, and a third water supply intake.

  • Patent number: 9096996
Abstract: A water-saving system for the management and disposal of liquid, semi-solid and solid wastes is described that comprises an open-rim toilet bowl for allowing the flow of greywater containing food residues, small pieces of soap, soapy water, toothpaste residues, shaving residues, hair and the like, without allowing the formation of obstructions throughout the length of the open rim; an anti-sedimentation tank placed above and connected to the toilet bowl, said anti-sedimentation tank being capable of receiving and storing greywater that will be reused to flush the toilet to clean the toilet bowl and flush the wastes contained therein; a washbasin-shaped tank lid located above and closing the upper part of the anti-sedimentation tank; and mixer valve installed in the washbasin-shaped lid and connected to cold and hot water supplies, where the mixer valve includes a third water supply intake which is also connected to a water outlet of the intake valve of the anti-sedimentation tank by means of a flexible hose.

  • Publication number: 20110167551
Abstract: The present invention describes an anti-sedimentation tank for an ecological toilet that uses previously-used water containing organic and inorganic solid and/or semi-solid residues, said anti-sedimentation tank comprising a main body that includes a front wall, a rear wall, a flat bottom and a pair of side walls that jointly define an interior volume; an anti-sedimentation member arranged within the interior space that includes generally inclined walls and a generally concave bottom to increase the entrainment force of the water, thus preventing the adherence to or encrustation on its walls of any solid or semi-solid residue, as well as preventing the formation of sediments; a modification of any kind of washbasin mixer valve that allows the washbasin which is integrated into and/or interconnected with a toilet to be used without having to discharge the toilet tank.
