  • Publication number: 20190087544
Abstract: Methods and apparatus providing a digital twin are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a digital twin of a healthcare procedure. The example digital twin includes a data structure created from tasks defining the healthcare procedure and items to be used in the healthcare procedure to model the tasks and items associated with each task for query and simulation for a patient. The example digital twin is to at least: receive input regarding a first item at a location; compare the first item to the items associated with each task; and, when the first item matches an item associated with a task of the healthcare procedure, record the first item and approval for the healthcare procedure and update the digital twin based on the first item. When the first item does not match an item associated with a task, the example digital twin is to log the first item.

  • Publication number: 20190005200
Abstract: Methods and apparatus providing a patient digital twin are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a processor and a memory. The example processor is to configure the memory according to a patient digital twin of a first patient. The example patient digital twin is to include a data structure created from a combination of patient medical record data, image data, genetic information, and historical information, the combination extracted from one or more information systems and arranged in the data structure to form a digital representation of the first patient. The example patient digital twin is to be arranged for query and simulation via the processor. The example patient digital twin is to be combinable with one or more rules to generate, using the processor, a recommendation for a patient health outcome based on modeling the patient digital twin as instructed by the one or more rules.

  • Publication number: 20190005195
Abstract: Methods and apparatus providing a patient digital twin are disclosed. An example apparatus including an example patient digital twin includes a data structure created from a combination of patient electronic medical record data and historical information, the combination extracted from information system(s) and arranged in the data structure to form a digital representation of the patient. The example patient digital twin is arranged for query and simulation. The example patient digital twin is to receive feedback regarding the patient following a procedure conducted on the patient. The example patient digital twin is to incorporate the feedback into the patient digital twin when elements for the procedure have been completed. The example patient digital twin is to process the incorporated feedback to generate and output a recommendation for follow-up with respect to the patient based on the digital representation of the patient including the incorporated feedback with respect to the procedure conducted.

  • Publication number: 20140303996
Abstract: A system and method to manage delivery of healthcare via a plurality of resources to a patient is provided. The system and method track and output a signal representative of a location of at least one of a series of resources relative to a control volume associated with the patient, acquire at least one signal representative of detecting ingress or egress of at least one of the plurality of resources relative to the control volume; and output a first signal representative of one of a series of milestones as defined in a predetermined protocol in response to detecting ingress or egress of at least one of the resources relative to the control volume.

  • Publication number: 20140108033
Abstract: Snapshot data may be received indicative of a current state of resources that deliver healthcare to a plurality of patients associated with a healthcare enterprise. The received snapshot data may be automatically used to initialize a healthcare enterprise simulation model. The healthcare enterprise simulation model may then be executed to automatically generate a predicted future state of the resources at a predetermined point in time. Some embodiments may automatically suggest mitigation strategies based on simulated scenarios reflecting potential bottlenecks and appropriate actions that may be taken by the enterprise. The system may continuously and automatically monitor forecast accuracy to detect potential anomalies.

  • Publication number: 20140108035
Abstract: According to some embodiments, first current resource data indicative of a current state of first resources that are used to deliver healthcare to a plurality of patients associated with a first healthcare enterprise is continuously and automatically received. The first current resource data may be automatically used to update a healthcare enterprise simulation model. The healthcare enterprise simulation model may automatically generate a predicted future state of the first resources, wherein the predicted future state of the first resources is based at least in part on second resource data indicative of a state of second resources that are used to deliver healthcare to a plurality of patients associated with a second healthcare enterprise remote from and networked with the first healthcare enterprise.

Abstract: Current resource data may be continuously and automatically received indicative of a current state of resources that are used to deliver healthcare to a plurality of patients associated with a healthcare enterprise. The current resource data may be automatically used to update a healthcare enterprise simulation model. The healthcare enterprise simulation model may be executed to automatically generate a predicted future state of the resources. A resource request may then be received, and a resource assignment engine may automatically assign a particular resource to the resource request based at least in part on the predicted future state of the resources.
