  • Publication number: 20230062658
Abstract: A method is described. The method includes receiving a communication including a command for a data source accessed via an interface. The interface is a data source agnostic platform and is capable of decoupling execution of the commands for the data source from a current session. The method also includes generating an augmented communication including the command and dynamically injected code for enforcing at least one policy. The augmented communication is provided to the interface. The interface enforces policies in response to the dynamically injected code in the augmented communication being executed by the interface.

  • Patent number: 10432971
Abstract: Computer implemented methods of compressing and decompressing image data are described. A discrete cosine (DCT) transformation is applied to each of a plurality of pixel blocks to generate a set of DCT coefficients for each pixel block comprising a DC DCT coefficient and a plurality of AC DCT coefficient. Each set of DCT coefficients is quantized. A DC array is formed from the set of quantized DC OCT coefficients and an AC matrix is formed from the set of quantized AC DCT coefficients. The AC matrix is compressed by eliminating blocks of data having only zero values and forming a reduced AC array from blocks including non-zero values. The reduced AC array is compressed using a key to form a coded AC array. The DC array and coded AC array are arithmetically coded to form arithmetically coded data which is included in a compressed image file. The decompression method is essentially the reverse process.

  • Patent number: 10407661
Abstract: The present invention relates to a packaging method for increasing the shelf life of fungal spores and to the packaging that contains such spores. The packaging method comprises the steps of pre-drying the spores to a water activity range viable for the fungus of interest, followed by packing of the spores into gas- and water-vapor-impermeable packaging by means of the use of sachets, thereby providing an atmosphere of low relative humidity and low oxygen content, followed by keeping of the spores in the packaging for a certain period of time at the temperature suitable for the spores prior to the exposure thereof to high temperatures.

  • Patent number: 9262721
Abstract: A population comparison system, method and a computer program product. A stored list of population members, e.g., hydrocarbon reservoirs, includes parameters for corresponding known characteristics and analogous members for each member. A new population member input receives new member descriptions including parameters for each respective new member. A parameter extraction system automatically extracts an estimated value for each missing key parameter, providing a supplemented description. An analogous member selector automatically selects a subset of listed population members as analogous members for each new population member responsive to the supplemented description. The analogous members serve as a basis for uncertainty characterization from the joint parameter distribution and univariate distributions for each parameter.
