  • Patent number: 11030819
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and computer system for product build assistance and verification. The method, computer program product and computer system may include computing device which may receive a product build order for a product and match the product build order to one or more recognition algorithms and one or more pieces of product artwork. The computing device may generate one or more build steps for product assembly and display a build step to a first user via a user interface on a mixed reality device. The computing device may analyze progress of the build step via the mixed reality device and generate a product build status update based on the progress of the build step. The computing device may display the status update to a second user on a second computing device.

  • Patent number: 10747500
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention provide an approach for aurally delivering environmental visual information. In an embodiment, a set of images that is within the field of view of the user is captured from a video capture device worn by the user. Environmental text that is within the set of images is identified. An aural contextual indicator that corresponds to the environmental text is then generated. This aural contextual indicator indicates the informational nature of the environmental text. This aural contextual indicator is forwarded to the user via an aural device worn by the user accompanied by, in some embodiments, a vocalization of the content of the environmental text.

  • Publication number: 20190367029
Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed for controlling a speed of a vehicle. The method comprises acquiring information from a plurality of vehicle sensors, wherein the acquired information comprises image information acquired from one or more visual sensors, wherein the image information includes a driver of the vehicle. The method further comprises using one or more computer processors to perform image processing on the image information. The method further comprises dynamically determining an upper speed limit for the vehicle using the acquired information, wherein the upper speed limit is based in part on the image processing. The method further comprises receiving an acceleration input from a vehicle inceptor, and responsive to determining that application of the acceleration input would cause the speed of the vehicle to exceed the upper speed limit, transmitting a control signal to a vehicle actuator to avoid exceeding the upper speed limit.

  • Publication number: 20180102690
Abstract: An energy harvesting system includes a barrier disposed adjacent to a first traffic lane, the barrier comprising an aperture and a turbine disposed within the aperture. The turbine may be configured to generate electrical power in response to airflow through the aperture and in response to horizontal airflow that is tangential to the barrier and the aperture. In some embodiments, the barrier is disposed between the first traffic lane and a second traffic lane and may function as a traffic median. Consequently, the first traffic lane and the second traffic lane are may be counter-flowing traffic lanes. A method and apparatus corresponding to the above system are also disclosed herein.
