Abstract: A golf shoe includes a sole member integrally formed with a molding material, a structural member, and a plurality of receptacles in the bottom of the sole member. The structural member extends along at least a portion of the length of the sole member and is configured to not vertically overlap with any of the receptacles. A method of manufacturing a shoe with a sole member that has a structural member formed integrally therewith is also provided.
