  • Patent number: 11821484
Abstract: Method and plant for manufacturing braking elements such as vehicle brake pads. The plant can comprise a first station that applies an adhesive to a first face of a metallic element; a second station that applies to the first face of the metallic element a block of friction material; a checking station that verifies the presence of the adhesive by detecting the gray level of a plurality of points of at least one zone of the first face; and a processing unit that compares the gray level detected for each point with a first threshold value, counts the number of points that have a gray level that satisfies a relationship (which is a function of the threshold value,) and compares such a value with a second threshold value to discard those metallic elements for which the percentage calculated does not correspond to the second threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10965117
Abstract: The application includes a method to control a leakage current protection device in a photovoltaic apparatus, said photovoltaic apparatus being adapted to be electrically connected to an electric power distribution grid having one or more phase voltages at an AC section of the photovoltaic apparatus. The method includes executing a first control procedure to control the leakage current protection device, the first control procedure providing for a comparison of current check values indicative of leakage currents in the photovoltaic apparatus with one or more predefined current threshold values for the leakage currents. • Patent number: 10449693
Abstract: A numeric-control work center can be used for carrying out cutting operations or grinding and/or milling operations on plates of stone, marble, or, in general, natural or synthetic stone material, or ceramic material. The work center comprises at least one working head movable along at least two mutually orthogonal horizontal axes on a work surface. The work surface includes a rigid supporting board, which defines a first planar supporting surface, and a series of sacrificial elements rigidly connected to the rigid supporting board. The sacrificial elements are arranged in positions spaced apart from each other and define a second supporting surface located at a higher level than the first planar supporting surface, so that a cutting tool coupled to the working head engraves the sacrificial elements, without interfering with the supporting board during a cutting operation on a plate resting on the sacrificial elements, whichever is the path followed by the cutting tool.

  • Patent number: 9758311
Abstract: A method and device useful for material removal from large plate-shaped materials, for example machining and polishing of glass and stone. The invention includes a workstation having arrays of roller and suction cups which are selectively used to transport and secure a plate positioned in the workstation. An imaging device collects data on a true position of the plate in the workstation and compares the real position to a design or ideal position to determine a difference of position. An electronic control system calculates the difference and modifies the processing program to adjust for the difference eliminating the need to further reposition the plate to the ideal design position for processing.

  • Patent number: 8425280
Abstract: A machine has a head with a nozzle, a pipe for supplying water under pressure to the nozzle, and a duct for supplying an abrasive agent, and adding it to the jet of water under pressure. The duct has a first duct portion, fixed with respect to the head in the movements of rotation about a main axis, and a second duct portion, which is fixed with respect to the movements of rotation. A rotating distributor connects the first rotating portion with the second fixed portion of the duct for supplying the abrasive agent. The distributor's stator and rotor are rotatably mounted on one another without the interposition of seal rings and define between them an internal chamber that is substantially at atmospheric pressure and from which the abrasive agent drops by gravity to a duct outlet that converges into the pipe for supplying water under pressure.

  • Publication number: 20110081842
Abstract: A machine for cutting, with a hydro-abrasive jet, materials such as, for example, glass, stone, granite, marble, metal materials in general, and all the materials that can be machined using the aforesaid technology, comprises a cutting head (7) mobile according to one or more axes (X, Y, Z, 11, 13). The head (7) includes a nozzle (8) for the emission of a jet of water under pressure, a pipe (14), extending along a main axis (11) of the head, about which the head is able to turn, for supplying water under pressure to the nozzle, and a duct (19) for supplying an abrasive agent, for example garnet, and adding it to the jet of water under pressure. The duct (19) for the abrasive agent comprises a first duct portion (19a), fixed with respect to the head in the movements of rotation about said main axis (11), and a second duct portion (19b), which is, instead, fixed with respect to said movements of rotation.
