Abstract: The present disclosure describes a chimney vent cap for controlling the flow of exhaust gases exiting a vent stack or chimney of a grill, cooker, smoker, or other device. The chimney vent cap is adapted to receive and reside about the vent stack or chimney and is configurable in multiple configurations using single plane movement and absent insertion of a user's hand into the exhaust gases, with each configuration corresponding to a particular flow rate of exhaust gases through the chimney vent cap and, hence, through the vent stack or chimney. The chimney vent cap is adapted to retain such configuration absent user intervention during movement of the vent stack or chimney caused by opening and closing of the lid or top of such grill, cooker, smoker, or other device, such that the flow rate of exhaust gases after such movement is substantially the same as prior to such movement.

The handle couples to the band and also engages a rim or ridge of the lid to resist movement of the band in a direction away from the rim or ridge and toward the lid's edge. The bracket assembly can be adjustable to work with any size cooking device or any size add-on grill apparatus. The bracket assembly includes a mounting bracket and a mounting arm adapted to be coupled to the mounting bracket. The bracket assembly includes first and second ends in which the first end mounts to the cooking device and the second end mounts to the add-on grill apparatus.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes an apparatus for moving objects from above that need support at eccentric locations thereof during moving and methods of using the apparatus to move such objects. The apparatus restricts objects from moving relative to the apparatus in multiple directions and, together with the apparatus' support of the objects from below at multiple eccentric locations, provides stability and reduces the possibility of the user being injured or other things being damaged during the object's movement. According to an example embodiment, the apparatus comprises a hand tool having a handle and a plurality of interface members secured to the handle. The handle has an ergonometric shape for comfortable grasping by a user. The interface members depend from and extend outward from the handle to interact with and support an object being moved at multiple eccentric object locations.
