Abstract: A method for the computer-supported monitoring of the operation of a vehicle service includes providing in a test environment, a telematics control device of the vehicle type for which the vehicle service is intended to be monitored. The methods also includes simulating the vehicle using a first simulation unit generating test data and making the test data available to the telematics control device as status data on a vehicle bus. The method further includes simulating the data sink using a second simulation unit, wherein the simulated data sink is assigned to the simulated vehicle via a unique test vehicle identifier, at least in part by retrieving the status data stored for the simulated vehicle from the central computing system. The test data generated by the first simulation unit and the status data retrieved by the second simulation unit are evaluated at least in part using a comparison.

Abstract: Vehicle data are collected in a method in which one or more motor vehicles suitable for road traffic are assigned tasks, wherein the method involves: transmitting first information from a first of these motor vehicles to a backend that can communicate with multiple instances of these motor vehicles; and the backend taking this first information as a basis for assigning a first of these tasks to the first motor vehicle; wherein performing the first task includes transmitting second information; and wherein the first information is transmitted from the first motor vehicle to the backend via a mobile radio link, and/or the first task is assigned via a mobile radio link.
