Abstract: When any of a set of individual access computing services provided by geographically distributed computer units (e.g., websites), the fact that they are accessing those websites is transmitted to each of the other individuals in real time. The transmission is performed by each of the computer units directly transmitting signals addressed to each of the other computing units over a telecommunications network in packets addressed to the other computing units. Each of the individuals may view a display collating the information received from the computing units. In the case that the computer units are servers supporting Websites, the individuals can select Webpages to view based on the display. In this way, the activity of the group of individuals may be coordinated within space defined by geographically distributed computer units.
