  • Publication number: 20230416036
Abstract: A device and method of winding a web (W) of tissue paper or a non-woven material onto spools (2) to form a succession of web reels (3) on the spools (2) wherein the force in the winding nip (5) is measured and, as the diameter of the web reel (3) grows, the spool (2) on which the web reel (3) is wound is moved during winding along a horizontal plane such that, in the horizontal direction, the distance between the first supporting drum (4) and the spool (2) increases, and the second supporting drum (9) is moved vertically downwards to match the increasing size of the web reel (3) while maintaining contact with the web reel (3) to such an extent that a nip force between the web reel (3) and the second supporting drum (9) is maintained, and the first supporting drum (4) is moved vertically downwards as the diameter of the web reel (3) grows and moved to such an extent that the measured nip force in the winding nip (5) remains substantially at a set value or within the range of a predetermined upper and a predete

  • Patent number: 11535473
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for moving and labelling reels (R1, R2, R3, R4, . . . Rn) of a web material such as paper or nonwoven in which each reel has a central core piece (3) which is hollow and around which the web material is wound. A robot arm (6) is inserted into the central core piece (3) of at least one reel (R1) and is then used to move the (R1) from a first position (P1) to a second position (P2) and to fix an inner label (15) onto the central core piece (3). According to the invention, the inner label (15) is placed on the robot arm (6) before the robot arm (6) is inserted into the central core piece (3) and the robot arm (6) is used both to fix the inner label (15) to the central core piece (3) and to move the at least one reel (R1).

  • Publication number: 20030089814
Abstract: The re-reeling machine comprises a feed assembly (5) for feeding tubular winding cores and a re-reeling assembly (3) with a revolver unit (57) on which the tubular winding cores (C) are set in order to wind on them predetermined amounts of web-like material and form respective rolls (B) of wound web-like material. The revolver unit rotates about an axis of rotation (A) and has at least two supports (101, 102) for tubular cores, which are set in two angular positions with respect to said axis of rotation. The tubular-core feed assembly comprises a dispensing path (165, 171) for dispensing tubular cores to a core loader (181). The core loader is provided with a motion of approach to the revolver unit and a motion of following of the movement of the revolver unit, in order to transfer the tubular cores from the loader to the revolver unit.
