  • Patent number: 11926481
Abstract: Aspects include a robotic device for inspection of components of a belt conveyor comprising a mobile platform and a robotic arm having a first end coupled to the mobile platform and a second end, the robotic arm configured to guide the second end to contact at least one of the components of the belt conveyor. Further included is a method for inspecting components of a belt conveyor using a robotic device, including: obtaining temperature and/or noise data of at least one of the components of the belt conveyor; and, if the data are outside a range, then: driving a second end a robotic arm of the robotic device for contacting at least one of the components; and obtaining vibration data from at least one of the components.

  • Patent number: 11415169
Abstract: A multiphase pump for conveying a multiphase process fluid includes a pump housing, a rotor and a radial bearing. The rotor is arranged in the pump housing and is configured to rotate about an axial direction. The radial bearing has a support carrier and a support structure to support the rotor with respect to a radial direction. The rotor includes a pump shaft and an impeller fixedly mounted on the pump shaft to convey the process fluid from a pump inlet to a pump outlet. A squeeze film damper is provided to reduce vibrations of the rotor, the squeeze film damper arranged around the support structure of the radial bearing, and having an radially outer surface. A damping gap is arranged between the support structure of the radial bearing and the radially outer surface of the squeeze film damper. The damping gap is configured to receive a damping fluid.

  • Patent number: 10584710
Abstract: A sealing arrangement for sealing a pressure chamber in a high pressure pump which is bound by a first and a second bounding element, includes a separate sealing element which has a first sealing surface for co-operating with the first bounding element, as well as having a second sealing surface for cooperating with the second bounding element. The two sealing surfaces are inclined with respect to one another and each have a groove for receiving a sealing ring. The sealing element is arranged in such a way that it can be displaced totally along one of the bounding elements on the application of pressure.

  • Patent number: 9729562
Abstract: A communication network is defended using a distributed infrastructure that leverages coordination across disparate abstraction levels. At each node computing device comprising a communication network, a stored event list is used to detect at least one node event which occurs at a machine code level and is known to have the potential to interfere directly with the internal operation of the node computing device. The at least one node event is one which is exclusive of an event within a network communication domain. In response to detecting the at least one node event at one of the plurality of network nodes, an optimal network-level defensive action is automatically selectively determined by the network. The network level defensive action will involve a plurality of network nodes comprising the communication network.

  • Publication number: 20160020955
Abstract: A system and method for deploying software agents in a policy-governed environment. The use of over-arching policies to control the actions and interactions of the software agents preserves desirable agent autonomy without allowing unwanted and potentially unpredictable (or at least difficult-to-predict) agent behavior. The system allows the agents to be deployed in a high-assurance environment.
