    Abstract: An access system for a vehicle includes a step plate and an ejection unit effectively connected with the step plate, wherein the step plate is displaced along a displacement axis. The system has a shutdown unit permanently fastened to the vehicle, with a sickle-shaped, rotatable lever, rotatable from an operating position into a shutdown position and back again, a locking bolt arranged on the step plate, which is then reached behind by the lever and, by further rotating the lever along the displacement axis while performing a displacement movement, moved from an extended position toward a retracted position. The lever is in the shutdown position if the step plate has been completely retracted into the step plate arrangement, whereby the step plate is positively secured against a displacement in the extension direction of the step plate by the lever, which is manually rotated via an outwardly accessible contact area.

    Abstract: A tread system for a vehicle includes a tread plate, which is movable, underneath a tread strip edge of the vehicle, from a retracted position in the direction towards a deployed position and vice versa along a deployment axis extending perpendicularly to the tread strip edge. The tread plate has a tread surface capable of bearing tread loads, on which an anti-slip profile is formed, wherein the anti-slip profile has profile elements, wherein each profile element is raised relative to a tread surface base and has a greater length along a respective longitudinal profile element axis than along a transverse profile element axis that extends perpendicularly to the longitudinal profile element axis and parallel to the tread surface base. In order for the tread plate to be capable of being cleaned in a simplified manner and with improved efficiency, it is proposed that the profile elements are arranged in rows.

    Abstract: A system and method enable an external user interface (UI) control for interacting with content in an iFrame web page to be invoked from within the iFrame and displayed outside the iFrame. The iFrame web page detects a predefined user interaction with a UI element in the iFrame web page and sends a UI request message to the host application using cross-domain communication. The host application activates the external UI control in response to receiving the UI request message and displays the external UI control outside of the iFrame element. User input is received with the external UI control and communicated from the host application to the iFrame web page and applied to the UI element.

    Abstract: A modular tread step seal assembly includes a tread step module which, using a drive unit, is movable along a movement axis from a retracted position in the direction of an extended position and vice versa.
