  • Publication number: 20230001020
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure encompass systems, methods, and compositions related to selective advantages to somatic cells that harbor one or more particular genetic modifications. In particular embodiments, there is selective expansion of gene-targeted cells wherein the strategy involves deletion of an essential gene product that is replaced with targeted integration that also includes integration of a therapeutic transgene. The cells that harbor the replaced essential gene product, and thereby the therapeutic transgene, are selected for using pharmaceutical or nutritional agents that are linked to the function of the essential gene product.

  • Patent number: 9338933
Abstract: The present invention relates to a shielding system for conductor cables as well as to a method for producing said shielding system. The system is characterized in that it comprises a corrugated tube (20) coated with one or more thin films of high electrical conductivity material (30) which are reversibly adhered to the surface of said corrugated tube (20) so that said coating can be uncoupled from the corrugated tube due to high bending values of the tube itself. The shielding system according to the present invention therefore combines the excellent shielding efficacy values of a system having thin metal films with the excellent flexibility properties of a corrugated plastic tube.

  • Patent number: 8240091
Abstract: Gasket for refrigerator cabinets of the kind including a soft bellows-type portion used for sealing the area between the cabinet and the door and extending from a base portion able to match the outer door and/or inner door of the refrigerator cabinet. The base portion is substantially rigid and has at one end, a sealing portion made of substantially soft material extending toward the inner door. The soft material portion has good flexible and spring back features when exposed to refrigerator and freezer temperatures. These features make the gasket able to further seal, preferably by compression, the space located between the cabinet and inner door in a more internal area of the refrigerator cabinet. Furthermore, the soft sealing portion is independent and free from constraints with respect to the soft bellows-type portion.

  • Publication number: 20090058246
Abstract: Gasket for refrigerator cabinets of the kind including a soft bellows-type portion used for sealing the area between the cabinet and the door, thus extending from a base portion able to match the outer door and/or inner door of the refrigerator cabinet, wherein said base portion is substantially rigid and that at one end of it there is a means made of substantially soft material extending toward said inner door, said material having good flexible and spring back features when exposed to refrigerator and freezer temperatures, able to further seal, preferably by compression, the space located between said cabinets and inner door in a more internal area of the refrigerator cabinet, wherein said sealing means is independent and free from constraints with respect to said soft bellows-type portion.
