Abstract: A device for external orthopedic fixations, which has one or more frames which have a substantially and/or partially annular shape and are suitable for being arranged around a limb to surround it at least partially, wherein one or more rods are fixed to a frame by means of a locking mechanism is provided. The device has two jaws which, when closed, tighten the locking mechanism to a portion of the frame by exerting a prevalently axial force, wherein the jaws are closed by means of a cam mechanism suitable for being actuated by rotating a lever pivoted to a first jaw and provided with one or more cam surfaces cooperating with a surface of the second jaw.

Abstract: A method to control a high performance road vehicle equipped with a rear spoiler that has at least one adjustable aerodynamic profile, the control method includes the steps of: detecting the tendency to oversteer or understeer when cornering, adjusting the setting of the adjustable aerodynamic profile of the rear spoiler to a greater angle of incidence in order to increase the overall downforce generated by the rear spoiler if oversteering is detected when cornering, and adjusting the setting of the adjustable aerodynamic profile of the rear spoiler to a lower value of the angle of incidence in order to reduce the overall downforce generated by the rear spoiler if understeering is detected when cornering.

Abstract: A rear spoiler with adjustable aerodynamic profiles for a high performance road vehicle, the rear spoiler including: at least one fin-shaped support, a first adjustable aerodynamic profile that is mounted onto the fin-shaped support and that rotates around a first rotational axis, and a second adjustable aerodynamic profile that is mounted onto the fin-shaped support at a different height than the first aerodynamic profile and that rotates around a second rotational axis, that is parallel to the first rotational axis, and in an opposite direction with respect to the rotation of the first aerodynamic profile, wherein the first rotational axis is located close to a trailing edge of the first aerodynamic profile and the second rotational axis is located close to a leading edge of the second aerodynamic profile.

Abstract: A profile access mediator provides to a plurality of service providers controlled and logically centralized access to personal profiles stored in a local or distributed database. The access to the databases containing user, service or terminal profiles is controlled and tracked by a plurality of personalized access technologies which are dependent on the typology of the data involved. Such a scheme allows for better control of the data access, more efficiency in the security and accounting processes, as well as in the data access in general.
