  • Patent number: 11867108
Abstract: Device for the abatement of pollutants of an internal combustion engine comprising an external casing in which a DOC and a bypass duct of the DOC is housed to define a bifurcation for the exhaust gases passing through the device, so that a first flow is intended to cross the DOC and a second flow is intended to bypass the DOC, an injector of urea-based reducing agent arranged at or at a point immediately downstream of the bifurcation and an electric heater arranged annularly with respect to the bypass duct and configured to heat the bypass duct and to be passed by the first exhaust gas flow.

  • Patent number: 7350397
Abstract: A device for detecting the amount or concentration of particulate matter in a gas medium comprises a structure for the deposit of solid particles, at least a first and a second electrode associated to the structure, and means for measuring an electric quantity between the first and second electrode. A plurality of cavities is defined in the structure, which act as collectors of solid particles, the structure being arranged so as to induce the accumulation of the particles inside the cavities.

  • Patent number: 7303328
Abstract: The cartridge has two compartments normally for containing two substances of the mixture, which are separated by a preferential break member; one of the two compartments contains a liquid solvent, and is fitted with a bellows having an intake valve and for producing a pumping action by varying the volume of the bellows by exerting pressure on the bellows. The bellows first causes breakage of the member to mix the two substances, and then produces flow of the mixture to accelerate its reaction. The cartridge is insertable inside a cavity of a support for heating or cooling in predetermined conditions.

  • Patent number: 7257984
Abstract: A miniaturized sensor device comprises at least one pair of active projecting elements or cantilevers, which are set parallel to one another and at a micrometric or sub-micrometric distance apart and are designed to be submerged at least partially in a fluid. Each pair comprises a first cantilever, equipped with actuator means, and a second cantilever, equipped with sensor means. The actuator means can cause a movement of the first cantilever, whilst the sensor means can detect a movement of the second cantilever, induced by the movement of the first cantilever, for generating accordingly a measurable signal, which represents the lubricating capacity of the fluid.
