  • Patent number: 8172192
Abstract: A longitudinal displacement device is provided that has an upper rail that is displaceable in the longitudinal direction, and a stationary lower rail. A linear guide that has a bearing element for longitudinal guidance and support of the upper rail is located in the longitudinal direction between the upper rail and the lower rail. Provided on the upper rail is a carrier that engages in a recess bounded by two stops and located in the center region of the bearing cage as viewed in the longitudinal direction, in order to carry the bearing cage along. A recess bounded by two stops is located in the center region of the bearing element. Provided on the upper rail is a carrier that engages in the recess. During a displacement of the upper rail, the bearing element is carried along by the carrier, so that the upper rail is always supported on the lower rail over its entire length. The motor vehicle seat can thus be displaced in a smooth-running manner with the application of a small force.

  • Patent number: 8141953
Abstract: An adjusting system for a vehicle seat is specified that comprises a lower rail that can be mounted rigidly to the vehicle, an upper rail that is displaceable along the lower rail and can be mounted rigidly to the seat, a locking device for locking the upper rail to the lower rail, a memory module that is movable along the lower rail and can be fixed alternately with respect to the seat or to the vehicle and which includes a movable blocking catch for effecting positive locking to the lower rail, and a seat-mounted control lever for actuating the blocking catch and a seat-mounted actuating means for unlocking the locking device.

  • Publication number: 20120019037
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat comprising a seat sub-frame adjustable along a rail longitudinal guide to which a backrest is hinged in a pivoting manner and can be folded forward toward a seating surface of the seat sub-frame, a locking device for arresting the rail longitudinal guide in an adjustable seating longitudinal position, an entry aid by means of which the locking device is released, when the backrest is folded forward to the seating surface and a memory arrangement for adjusting and restoring a memory position having a position memory that has an adjustment means for adjusting the memory position in the rail longitudinal direction of the rail longitudinal guide and a locking element that is connected to the adjustment means in a pivoting manner that under the effect of a control element can be pivoted in a locking rail for locking the adjusted memory position and pivoted out of the locking rail for adjusting a memory position and is connected to the adjustment means via a slotted gui
