    Abstract: An arrangement for protecting an object, especially a motor vehicle, against approaching projectiles, contains a plurality of profile rods of prism-shaped cross-section. The profile rods are disposed in at least two rows lying one behind the other and at a distance from each other. In the rows, the respective mutually parallel profile rods are disposed at a distance apart, wherein the profile rods of the front row cover the gaps between the profile rods of the rear row.
