Abstract: Disclosed herein are peptides useful for targeting the retina, and may be useful for targeting specific cells in the retina. The peptides may have a Formula I or V: R1—X1—X2—(X3)n—X4—X5—X6—X7—R2?? Formula I R1-Asn-Val-Ser-Ala-Tyr-Pro-Thr-R2?? Formula V. Also disclosed are conjugates and compositions comprising the peptides. The compositions may comprise a desired agent to be delivered to the retina, such as a therapeutic agent and/or an imaging agent. Methods for administering the peptide, conjugates, and/or composition to a subject also are disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a polymerizable composition comprising (A) a reaction product of: (a) diethyleneglycol bischloroformate, ethyleneglycol bischloroformate, or combinations thereof; (b) allyl alcohol; (c) optionally, a cyclic polyol selected from the group consisting of a cycloaliphatic polyol having at least one secondary hydroxyl group, a heterocyclic polyol having primary and/or secondary hydroxyl groups, and mixtures thereof; and (d) optionally, at least one linear or branched aliphatic polyol having two to six hydroxyl groups; and (B) an organic peroxide comprising at least three peroxide groups. Abstract: A method of distributing goods obtained from a seller through use of auction services. A store obtains goods from a seller and the goods are specifically identified and clear title to the goods is verified through a database via law enforcement agencies. The database is used to automate listing such goods in online auctions and monitoring the auctions until they conclude. if the auction concludes with a buyer, the goods are shipped and the buyer has a finite amount of time to inspect the goods and either accept them or reject them. if the buyer accepts the goods, the buyer's account is debited and the proceeds are distributed to all appropriate parties.
