Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical package comprising a plastic container and an aqueous formulations of nerve growth factor (NGF), in which at least the surface of the container in contact with the NGF aqueous formulation is made of particular polypropylenes (PPs), characterized by certain thermal properties and crystallinity. Advantageously said containers show a NGF adhesion significantly lower than that of siliconized glass or of other polypropylenes. It is thus possible to store aqueous formulations of NGF in less severe conditions, avoiding additional coating treatments to the containers and additives while keeping the NGF titer constant.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (1) for dispensing eye drops comprising a first container (2) containing water for injection (200) and a second container (3) containing a freeze-dried composition (300) comprising a drug. The first container (2) comprises a tubular element (9) with an open end portion (10) and the second container (3) comprises a wall (16) configured to be engaged in a fluid-tight manner around the tubular element (9) and a piercible barrier (17) which, in the assembled condition of the device (1), prevents mixing of the substances contained inside the first and second containers (2, 3). The drop dispensing device (1) also comprises a spacer (4) arranged between the first and second containers (2, 3); the spacer (4) does not allow the tubular element (9) to pierce the piercible barrier (17).

Abstract: The invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions of alkylammonium salts of 2-aryipropionic acids, including ketoprofen, ibuprofen, naproxen and tiaprofenic acid. The compositions are suitable for parenteral administration arid, due to buffering at pH 8 to 9, cause less pain upon injection than previously known composition.
