  • Patent number: 5618015
Abstract: A clip for fastening members such as pipes or similar articles or components to a part of a support such as a vehicle frame, and of the type presenting a body with at least one partially closed seat defined by a flexible inner and outer wall substantially concentric with each other and each presenting a mouth; characterized in that the outer wall presents, a given distance from its mouth, a retaining tooth facing inwards towards the inner wall; and the inner wall presents, close to its mouth, a tooth facing outwards and away from the seat; the teeth of the inner and outer walls being positioned facing and close to each other but not mutually engaged when the clip is idle but engaging each other, if the pipe or similar article or component is involuntarily attempted to be withdrawn from the seat so as to in fact prevent such involuntary withdrawal of the pipe or similar article or component from the seat.

  • Patent number: 4978479
Abstract: A jet for the carburetor of a gasoline internal combustion engine, including means for automatically correcting the composition (dosing) of the mixture which is delivered in the different operation conditions of the engine, comprises a delivery spout connected to a first vertical tube which plunges in a constant level fuel bowl and is provided with a fuel nozzle, and a second vertical tube which plunges into the constant level fuel bowl, surrounds the first vertical tube and forms a gap with respect to the same; this second vertical tube is closed at its lower end by a bottom traversed by a calibrated hole, and is provided with through apertures located at a level higher than the constant level of the gasoline in the fuel bowl.

  • Patent number: 4960545
Abstract: A unit intended to supply gasoline and air mixture to an internal combustion engine in special operation conditions, such as the operation at the minimum speed, the start period, the operation as motor-brake and/or the acceleration, comprises a main air intake in the form of a venturi tube defining a restricted cross section, intended to be connected to an intake conduit downstream the carburetor shutter, a jet for the supply in the operation at the minimum speed, which has an own air intake and opens in the restricted cross section of the main air intake, a jet for the operation in the start period, which has an own air intake and opens in the main air intake dowstream the restricted cross section thereof, and two solenoid valves arranged to independently cut off, when activated, the one or the other jet or both.

  • Patent number: 4465641
Abstract: A carburetor for spark-ignition internal combustion engines, comprising a plurality of chokes formed in a body and cooperating with a shutter which is displaceable perpendicularly to the axis of the chokes and has passage openings so shaped and arranged as to uncover the chokes in sequence, so that, in the various operating conditions, all the active chokes operate at their full opening excepting only the last which may be partially shut. The result is a greater efficiency, a better combustion and a reduction of the exhaust gas pollution. In the preferred embodiment, the chokes are arranged along circle arcs, and the shutter is a rotating disc having arcuate openings, located between the body wherein the chokes are formed and an underlying distributor. The various chokes may be differently sized and provided with different nozzles in order to obtain the best metering in the various operating conditions.
