  • Publication number: 20240175387
Abstract: A heating device for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine and having: a main tubular body, which contains a combustion chamber delimited by a first base wall and by a second base wall, which are opposite one another; a fuel injector configured to inject fuel; an inlet opening, which can be connected to a fan to receive an air flow, which is directed to the combustion chamber and gets mixed with fuel; a secondary tubular body which is arranged inside the main tubular body and inside the combustion chamber and has a side wall, which is arranged at a given distance from the side wall of the main tubular body so as to divide an initial part of the combustion chamber into a central zone, which is located inside the secondary tubular body, and an annular peripheral zone, which is located around the secondary tubular body.

  • Publication number: 20240150841
Abstract: Disclosed herein are 2 novel long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), TROLL-2 and TROLL-3. It is shown herein that lncRNAs TROLL-2 and TROLL-3, as well as their effector WDR26, are suitable targets for cancer therapies and can be used to make prognostic determinations about a cancer and determine if immune checkpoint inhibitors should be used to treat a cancer.

  • Publication number: 20140121128
Abstract: It is described the influence of the presence of mutations in the TP53 gene in association with high levels of the enzyme prolyl isomerase Pin1 and a molecular signature of 10 genes expression correlated with the expression of Pin1 and p53 for the prognosis of breast tumors. The association between overexpression of Pin1 and the presence of protein p53 mutants induces transcriptional programs which promote tumor aggressiveness and in a cohort of patients the overexpression of Pin1 has proved to influence the prognostic value of the presence of mutations in the gene TP53. The assessment of the expression of Pin1 in the presence of mutations of the gene TP53, together with the detection of the expression of the genes forming the molecular signature can therefore be used for the prognosis of breast cancer.
