Abstract: Disclosed a device for digging diaphragms, including a framework and a half-shell support body, fixed in the lower part of the framework, which supports a first pair of half-shells moved to open and close by a first actuation system. The device also has a reservoir operatively connected to the first pair of half-shells to contain the soil dug by half-shells. The reservoir is normally positioned between the framework and the half-shells and has a volume configured to contain an amount of soil corresponding to the amount of soil dug by such half-shells during a single operating cycle of the device. The device can also include separation means actuated for isolating the soil contained in the reservoir.

Abstract: Described herein is a bit (9) for excavation and compaction equipment (1) for erecting piles, the bit (9) being provided with a central body (21), an excavation screw (24) fixed to the central body (21), and a dislocating element (40) for compaction of the walls of the excavation, a retention device (25) that can be selectively re-closed being associated to the central body (21) for preventing fall of debris beyond a leading edge (27) of the screw (24) during extraction of the bit (9), and the dislocating element (40) being mounted on a fixed portion (28) of the retention device (25), and presenting a radial development, which decreases with respect to a rotation of excavation of the excavation screw (24) for compaction of the walls (3a) of the excavation (3) during extraction of the bit (9).

The boring unit may also include a handling device (11) which provides for moving the excavation element (7) and for moving further auxiliary excavation elements (19, 20) and which is also provided with a head (12) mounted on a top end of the mast (5) that is equipped with a hoist (13) and a central cable (14) which can be alternatively connected to the excavation element (7) via a drive unit (40) which is suitable for co-operating with the hoist (13) in order to rapidly move the auxiliary excavation elements.
