  • Publication number: 20230212942
Abstract: The present invention proposes an electronic system capable of assuming the role of master module before the proprietary module of the manufacturer of the SCP system, in the absence of a response to the first request from the supervisory system, or when the proposed module detects that the original module is inappropriately carrying out the PCM signal decoding. The system is further capable of monitoring new variables available at the bottomhole, regardless of the limited set of variables provided by the original module of the SCP system. The invention aims at covering a hitherto unsolved technical gap (signal loss between the bottom sensors and the surface panels) and add a set of possibilities that can be taken advantage of to increase well production performance and increase medium time between failures (MTBF—Medium Time Between Failures), with the development of specific know-how for SCP systems.

  • Publication number: 20230175941
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for measuring characteristics of a multiphase flow from structural vibration signals. In this sense, the objectives of the invention are achieved by means of a method for measuring characteristics of a multiphase flow from structural vibration signals which comprises: obtaining, by means of acceleration sensors (V01, V02, T00) externally fixed to a pipeline, signals based on pipeline internal flow vibration; processing, by means of a processing device, the obtained signals; and determining a dispersion curve fitting coefficient to determine the void fraction of the mixture.

  • Publication number: 20210118576
Abstract: Method for creating a coherent voting network including the steps of: a) organizing predetermined data from a cohort of patients in a master matrix having in its row the list of patients and having in its column the expression value of a panel of genes; b) applying a predetermined statistical test to each gene to evaluate which genes better discriminates survival or not-survival classes for patients, thus obtaining a first candidate panel of genes; c) discretizing the expression value of each of the genes belonging to said first candidate panel; d) converting the quantized master matrix in a first bipartite graph; e) applying a predetermined algorithm to the bipartite graph (G) to obtain a collection of bipartite communities; f) applying a predetermined algorithm to the communities, thus obtaining a second candidate panel; g) creating an updated bipartite graph comprising nodes-patients and nodes-gene whose genes belongs to the second candidate panel; h) repeating step e) on the updated bipartite graph; i) a

  • Publication number: 20010026823
Abstract: The present invention relates to a continuous process for the production of precooked cornmeal comprising the subsequent sieving (2), precooking (4, 6) and particle size selecting (9) steps. Before the precooking (4, 6) the cornmeal is divided into two portions, wherein the first portion is subjected to precooking (4) in the presence of water vapor whereas the second portion is subjected to precooking (6) in the presence of water vapor and hot water. Said first and second portion are brought together before said particle size selecting step (9). The precooked cornmeal obtained by the process according to the present invention is suitable for the preparation of a food product which reproduces at best all the features of the home-made polenta.
