  • Publication number: 20230114073
Abstract: A coupling system between the parts in a prosthesis for the articulation of the shoulder comprising a metal support (11), a pin element (12), a cylindrical bush (20) and a glenosphere or hemispherical element (22) which are consecutively coupled in the sequence listed above, in addition to reciprocal constraint elements, wherein said metal support (11) and said pin element (12) are constrained with an interposed conical coupling (13,14), said pin element (12) provides a central pass-through hole and externally, at one end opposite to that of coupling with the metal support (11), it has a cylindrical section (15) with a knurled surface, said pin element (12) provides that said pass-through hole comprises a threaded portion (17), said cylindrical bush (20) is externally provided with a threading (21) complementary to the threaded section (17) of the pin element (12), said glenosphere or hemispherical element (22) comprises an axial pass-through hole (24) which on one side has an internal seat (23) with an enlar

  • Patent number: 11596520
Abstract: A shoulder prosthesis includes a humeral portion and a scapular portion, each having an osseointegrable component and an articular component. The osseointegrable component in the humeral portion includes a humeral body produced as a semicircular asymmetrical cage having a proximal circular ring base facing the scapular portion and an eccentric distal cylindrical base in opposite position, which are connected by arms having one or more holes for favoring the growth of bone tissue and facilitating anchorage to the bone, the proximal circular ring base being configured to be interchangeably coupled with the articular component for an anatomical prosthesis or a concave insert for a reverse prosthesis. The osseointegrable component in the scapular portion includes a glenoid base-plate of asymmetric form for coupling to an articular component, such as a concave glenoid insert, for an anatomical prosthesis or a glenosphere for a reverse prosthesis.

  • Publication number: 20070298679
Abstract: A modular play structure comprises a plurality of square tiles that can be placed next to one another to form a plastic model in which a track, capable of being traversed by a mobile element, is formed. Each tile comprises two railway lines capable of forming a respective portion of said track and further segments of railway track positioned in proximity to each vertex and inclined at 45° with respect to the bisector of the vertex at a distance equal to half the distance between centers between the two railway lines.
