  • Patent number: 7930877
Abstract: An exhaust system for an internal combustion engine, which is provided with a feeding pipe of fresh air to an intake manifold and with a turbocharger arranged along the feeding pipe; the exhaust system displays: an emission pipe for releasing the exhaust gases produced by the internal combustion engine into the atmosphere; at least one gas treatment device, which is arranged along the emission pipe and consists of an oxidizing catalyzer and an anti-particulate filter; and a recirculation circuit, which displays a recirculation pipe which is regulated by a recirculation valve and connects the emission pipe downstream of the treatment device to the intake pipe upstream of a compressor of the turbocharger to introduce into the intake pipe a certain amount of exhaust gases present in the emission pipe; along the recirculation pipe a filter consisting of a metallic mesh arranged to close the recirculation pipe is arranged.

  • Publication number: 20070039930
Abstract: A method is described for laser welding of sintered materials, in which the laser weld is executed with the addition of a weld material, the latter being adducted simultaneously to the welding step in the form of metal dusts, at a junction area between the parts to be joined (1,2).

  • Publication number: 20060130562
Abstract: A miniaturized sensor device comprises at least one pair of active projecting elements or cantilevers, which are set parallel to one another and at a micrometric or sub-micrometric distance apart and are designed to be submerged at least partially in a fluid. Each pair comprises a first cantilever, equipped with actuator means, and a second cantilever, equipped with sensor means. The actuator means can cause a movement of the first cantilever, whilst the sensor means can detect a movement of the second cantilever, induced by the movement of the first cantilever, for generating accordingly a measurable signal, which represents the lubricating capacity of the fluid.

  • Publication number: 20050180888
Abstract: A device for detecting the amount or concentration of particulate matter in a gas medium comprises a structure for the deposit of solid particles, at least a first and a second electrode associated to the structure, and means for measuring an electric quantity between the first and second electrode. A plurality of cavities is defined in the structure, which act as collectors of solid particles, the structure being arranged so as to induce the accumulation of the particles inside the cavities.

  • Publication number: 20050007870
Abstract: The cartridge has two compartments normally for containing two substances of the mixture, which are separated by a preferential break member; one of the two compartments contains a liquid solvent, and is fitted with a bellows having an intake valve and for producing a pumping action by varying the volume of the bellows by exerting pressure on the bellows. The bellows first causes breakage of the member to mix the two substances, and then produces flow of the mixture to accelerate its reaction. The cartridge is insertable inside a cavity of a support for heating or cooling in predetermined conditions.
