  • Publication number: 20240099264
Abstract: Liquid dispenser comprises a main body including a main duct, wherein an animal can drink from the front side of the dispenser liquids dispensed through the main duct, wherein a stem is arranged in the main duct and comprises a head urged by elastic means towards the main duct, wherein an auxiliary body is fixed to the main body and includes an auxiliary duct, wherein the head of the stem and the elastic means are arranged in a chamber which connects the main and auxiliary ducts, wherein the auxiliary body is fixed to the main body by means of extensions engaged with protuberances to prevent reciprocal axial movements between the main body and the auxiliary body, and wherein a locking element is fixed to the main body and/or to the auxiliary body to prevent mutual rotations around the longitudinal axis of the main body with respect to the body auxiliary.

  • Patent number: 5698270
Abstract: The invention relates to a process to confer antiscratch and antiabrasion properties onto a shaped article based on thermoplastic acrylic polymers by coating the article with a composition comprisinga) 40-98.5% by weight of a methacrylic or acrylic monomer and/or an oligomer of the methacrylic or acrylic monomer, the monomer or oligomer having at least two polymerizable double bonds;b) 1-20% by weight of a polar methacrylic or acrylic monomer and/or oligomers of the polar monomer;c) 0.5-10% by weight of a UV photoinitiator;and optionally containing silica, UV stabilizers and non ionic surfactants; by polymerizing and crosslinking in situ said composition by UV light, at temperatures of 20.degree.-65.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5569498
Abstract: The invention refers to a process to render antiscratch and antiabrasion shaped articles based on thermoplastic acrylic polymers consisting in coating the article by a composition comprising(A) 55-95% by weight of at least a (meth)acrylic monomer and/or oligomer having at least two double bonds;(B) 5-25% by weight of monomers and/or oligomers of divinylethers and/or epoxides(C) 0-20% by weight of monomers and/or oligomers containing polar groups of monofunctional (meth)acrylaytes and/or monovinylethers, when (A) or (B) do not contain polar groups, and comprising a mixed system of photoinitiators of radical and cationic type, then in submitting the coated article to U.V. irradiation, at temperatures of 30.degree.-70.degree. C. to polymerize and crosslink the coating in situ.

  • Patent number: 5547750
Abstract: The invention concerns films or plates of acrylic polymers, in particular polymethylmethacrylate, that have no drop properties. The films or plates are coated with a monomeric composition, polymerized and reticulated by ultraviolet light, consisting of:a) from 50 to 70% by weight of acrylic or methacrylic esters of C.sub.2 -C.sub.18 aliphatic glycols or of (poly)alkylenoxides formed by 1 to 6 of C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkyleneoxide units;b) from 10 to 30% by weight of C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 hydroxyalkyl acrylate or methacrylate;c) from 10 to 30% by weight of acrylic or methacrylic acid or their derivatives;d) from 1 to 10% by weight of a reticulation agent consisting of a polyfunctional acrylic monomer containing at least three double bonds, the components of class a) excluded the sum of Components (a)-(d) being 100%, and;e) from 0.01 to 3 parts by weight for 100 parts by weight of a+b+c+d of hydrophilic colloidal metal oxides and;f) from 0 to 0.06% parts for 100 parts by weight of a+b+c+d of a U.V.
