  • Patent number: 11511525
Abstract: A laminated glazing comprising first and second sheets of glass joined together by an interlayer structure comprising at least first and second layers of adhesive interlayer material with a support sheet therebetween is disclosed. The laminated glazing is arranged such that the first layer of adhesive interlayer material is between the first sheet of glass and the support sheet, the second layer of adhesive interlayer material is between the second sheet of glass and the support sheet support material and at least a portion of the second major surface of the first sheet of glazing material faces the first major surface of the second sheet of glazing material. In the event of breakage of the first sheet of glass, the second layer of adhesive interlayer material remains attached to the support sheet thereby keeping the second glass sheet from becoming detached from the laminated glazing.

  • Patent number: 10479171
Abstract: A laminated vehicle glazing is disclosed, the glazing comprising a first glass ply coated with an electrically conductive coating, a second glass ply, an interlayer ply comprising polyvinyl butyral, and a first busbar comprising a conductive foil, wherein the electrically conductive coating comprises a pyrolytically deposited transparent conductive oxide layer and in that the first busbar is in direct contact with both the electrically conductive coating and the interlayer ply. Preferably the pyrolytically deposited transparent oxide layer comprises doped tin oxide and is the outermost layer of the electrically conductive coating. Also disclosed are a vehicle windshield and a train having a power supply at 25 V to 250 V, comprising a laminated vehicle glazing. A method for manufacturing a laminated vehicle glazing is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8003235
Abstract: The invention relates to a coated glass pane with a low-e and/or solar control coating comprising at least one layer sequence which comprises at least the following transparent layers: a lower anti-reflection layer, an IR-reflecting layer, an upper anti-reflection layer. At least one of the anti-reflection layers comprises at least one compound layer containing a mixture of an (oxy)nitride of Si and/or Al and of ZnO. The inventive coated glass panes are preferably heat treatable, e.g. toughenable and/or bendable.
