  • Publication number: 20240383355
Abstract: A fluid channel assembly for a connector of a charging gun for an electric vehicle is provided. The fluid channel assembly includes a fluid channel network for cooling a contact pin of the charging gun. The fluid channel network is arranged around the contact pin and is in direct or indirect contact with the contact pin. Further, the fluid channel assembly includes a fluid inlet connected to the fluid channel network via a first single fluid transfer channel. The fluid inlet is configured to receive a coolant through a charging cable and to inject the coolant into the fluid channel network. A fluid outlet connected to the fluid channel network via a second single fluid transfer channel is provided. The fluid outlet is configured to receive the coolant from the fluid channel network and to inject the coolant into the charging cable.

  • Patent number: 11898333
Abstract: A high performance ADSorption Heat eXchanger ADS-HX includes a hygroscopic composite biopolymer, a heat exchange medium in contact with the hygroscopic composite biopolymer and a hollow conduit in contact with the heat exchange medium, into which hollow conduit either a cooling fluid or a heating fluid are alternately made to pass, so that the adsorption heat exchanger can be operated under high ambient temperatures and low relative humidity conditions, which are typical of arid climates. A process is provided for producing the aforesaid high performance ADSorption Heat eXchanger ADS-HX. A preferred and advantageous application of the aforesaid high performance ADSorption Heat eXchanger ADS-HX is in combination with the atmospheric water harvesting device described in the international application published at no. WO 2019/082000 A1 of the same Applicant.

  • Patent number: 11674699
Abstract: A method for production of water from air includes cyclically and successively repeating the following two phases: a first phase a), which includes the following steps: a1) taking air from the outside, a2) conveying the air towards an enthalpic exchanger containing an adsorbent material that internally accumulates the moisture that is present in the air, a3) outputting dry air, and a second phase b), which includes the following steps: b1) supplying heat to the enthalpic exchanger by way of a low-temperature heat source, b2) conveying an air flow through the enthalpic exchanger, wherein the air in contact with the enthalpic exchanger is heated and at the same time collects the moisture contained in the adsorbent material, and b3) bringing the heated and humidified air flow to ambient temperature in order to cause the moisture contained therein to condense, thereby obtaining water.
