  • Publication number: 20180347555
Abstract: It is disclosed a hermetic compressor, provided with at least one fluid expansion chamber, whose useful volume is narrowly defined between a section of one of the faces (inner or outer) of the airtight housing of the compressor and at least one wall section adjacently attached to one of the faces of the airtight housing of the compressor.

  • Publication number: 20150180294
Abstract: The present invention refers to a process for mounting permanent magnets in electric motor rotors and is destined, more specifically, to hermetic motor-compressor, which was conceived and developed to provide greater reliability to the assembly, since it is a technical solution capable of absorbing, more appropriately, the dimensional variations of the components involved and allows the use of high speed motor. Said process comprises the following steps: to construct a helical elastic element (6) with a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the magnet (3) assembly positioned on the outer surface of the metal core (2); to elastically expand the helical elastic element (6); and to engage the helical elastic element (6) around the magnet (3) assembly to enable that the elastic force of the a helical elastic element (6) causes the latter be rigidly molded to the outer diameter of the magnet assembly (3).

  • Publication number: 20140227114
Abstract: The compressor comprises a crankcase with at least one discharge muffling chamber having a bottom end wall provided with a threaded blind axial hole, a surrounding lateral wall, and an open end which defines an annular seat extending throughout the whole radial width of the surrounding lateral wall. A sealing gasket comprises a peripheral annular portion to be seated on the annular seat, and a median hole. A cover is seated on the sealing gasket and a fixation bolt has a head seated on the cover, a rod disposed through a median hole of the cover and trespassing the median hole of the sealing gasket, and a threaded end affixed in the blind axial hole.

  • Publication number: 20080159881
Abstract: A suction system for a refrigeration compressor of the type which comprises a valve plate which is provided with at least one suction orifice, selectively closed by a suction valve, and which closes a cylinder end; a cylinder head mounted against a face of the valve plate opposite to that closing the cylinder and which defines a discharge chamber occupying part of said cylinder head and partially contouring the suction orifice; and a suction muffler comprising a hollow body having an outlet tube projecting therefrom and presenting a free end seated on the valve plate in coaxial alignment with a respective suction orifice, said cylinder head being provided, externally to the discharge chamber, with a reinforcing wall portion which is dimensioned to define an increase in the structural rigidity of the cylinder head.
