Abstract: A web browser is configured to categorise book marked web pages. The browser runs a process that provides markers (CM1, 2, 3), which generate marker signals corresponding to individual categories for the content of the web pages. A user interface (21) is operable to allow the user to collocate a selection of the plurality of marker signals with network address data for the web page to be book marked, and also to allow the user to retrieve book marked web pages on the basis of the marker signals collocated to them.

Abstract: The present invention allows a person to add TV program information into an electronic calendar of a multimedia apparatus. A user accesses an electronic programming guide and selects a program of interest from the guide. The guide is stored either at a remote location, or locally after having been downloaded from a source. Upon selection of a TV program in the guide, an entry is then automatically entered into the user's electronic calendar at the appropriate day and time using the information from the guide corresponding to the selected TV program. The entry displayed can be the name of the selected program and the channel of its broadcast. At the time of the broadcast of the selected program, an indication may be displayed on the television as a reminder. The user may alternatively enter the appropriate G-code directly in the electronic calendar.

Abstract: A wireless system having a central family calendar. Individual family members may access the family calendar from their wireless devices. The system also includes telephone and address information for non-family members. Important dates such as birthdays, associated with the non-family members may automatically appear in the calendar. The system may be incorporated into other family accessible devices such as a family bulletin board.

Abstract: A wireless terminal device having network access. Selection of menus is simplified by allowing selection of more than one input such as direct touching of the screen, virtual keyboards or roller buttons. A focus marker in the form of a border around a field may be used to limit the area of selection. An object menu icon is visible without needing a right click of a mouse to make selection of the menu easier. The selection of options is localized and parsed before a response to the user selection is sent back to the terminal.

Abstract: A method and device are provided for accessing the internet. A first internet web page may be accessed using a terminal. The first internet web page may be displayed on a display of the terminal. Features of the first internet web page may be displayed within a first active window of the terminal. A user may subsequently select the first active window and have a browser reaccess the first internet web page. The first internet web page may then be displayed again on the display.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an apparatus for cleaning the bottom and sides of a water-filled pool with an automatic pool cleaner equipped with motor-driven track belts (9a, 9b) and with a poolside programming module to control the cleaning method. The pool cleaner is equipped with two counter-rotating brush rollers (14a, 14b). Each brush roller is provided with a longitudinal shield (17a, 17b) which partly encloses the brush roller and is sealed against the pool cleaner chassis (1) to increase the water velocity generated by the pool cleaner pump impeller (4) thereby increasing the suction developed between the pool cleaner suction box (8) and the pool bottom or side walls, as applicable, to achieve more efficient cleaning and to ensure the travel of the pool cleaner, particularly along the side walls of the pool.
