Abstract: A method is described for initiating a wireless network to connect an electronic device among a set of first-type electronic devices with a second-type electronic device. The method comprising: receiving, at a service server configured to service the set of first-type electronic devices, data pertaining to a user-id; retrieving, from a database, a unique network configuration associated with the user-id, wherein the unique network configuration is known beforehand by the second-type electronic device; selecting, at the service server, an electronic device among the set of first-type electronic devices; and sending, to the selected electronic device, the unique network configuration associated with the user-id for allowing the selected electronic device to initiate a wireless network using the unique network configuration associated with the user-id.

Abstract: A method and intrusion manager (200) for handling intrusion to an electronic equipment (202). When a sensor (204) detects (2:2) an intrusion to the electronic equipment, an intrusion entry indicating the detected intrusion is stored (2:3), and an associated sign-off message which identifies the stored intrusion entry is also stored (2:5). The sign-off message comprises a signature that validates the detected intrusion, which signature may be received (2:4) as input from an authorised person. Thereby, any stored intrusion entry can be checked by searching for an associated sign-off message, and a stored intrusion entry having no matching sign-off message with a valid signature can be determined to be unauthorised.

Abstract: A method and intrusion manager (200) for handling intrusion to an electronic equipment (202). When a sensor (204) detects (2:2) an intrusion to the electronic equipment, an intrusion entry indicating the detected intrusion is stored (2:3), and an associated sign-off message which identifies the stored intrusion entry is also stored (2:5). Abstract: A system and method are provided for displaying a user interface using multiple electronic devices. The method comprises providing a first user interface framework on a first electronic device having a first display screen; the first user interface framework determining that a second display screen on a second electronic device is available via a connection between the first and second electronic devices; the first user interface framework using application logic from an application on the first mobile device to determine a first user interface portion to be displayed on the first display screen and a second user interface portion to be displayed on the second display screen; and the first user interface framework providing data associated with the second user interface portion to the second electronic device.

Abstract: A method and system for rendering scenes in stereoscopic 3-D comprises identifying, or detecting, that a rate of change, of one or more elements of a scene to be rendered in stereoscopic 3-D, satisfies a criterion. The perceived depth of elements of the scene is then dynamically modified, and the scene is rendered. The method can reduce eye strain of a viewer of the scene, since the perceived difference in depth of objects or elements of the scene is reduced while the object is changing position or visibility dramatically.

Abstract: A display system with image sensor based display orientation is provided. The display system comprises: a display device; a sensor for acquiring at least one electronic image from a field of view proximal the display device; and a processor enabled to: control at least a subset of the display device to a display orientation associated with a given edge of the display device when a portion of the at least one electronic image associated with the given edge comprises a given reference image.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for intelligently generating presentations, the method comprising the steps of: analysing the variation in colours of pixels in the digital image; and, if the variation is below a predetermined threshold, applying one or more rules to increase visibility of the digital image in the presentation.

The graphical indicator may further show a proportion of the number of unseen messages to the total number of messages. A group of message indicators of unseen messages can be displayed as separated from message indicators of other messages by a gap.

Abstract: Presented are systems and methods for presenting, creating, and pausing a meeting session. The systems and methods create meeting-session data based at least in pan on one or more applications running on one or more devices connected to a meeting session. The systems and methods store muting-session data in a database. The systems and methods pause a meeting session such that the one or more devices are disconnected from the meeting session. The systems and methods resume a meeting session by configuring devices to run at least one of the one or more applications using the meeting-session data and joining configured devices to the resumed meeting session.
