  • Patent number: 10988075
Abstract: A vehicle lighting device includes at least one headlight, a position and/or acceleration sensor, and a control unit for adjusting a light/dark boundary of the headlight. Pitch movements of the vehicle can be detected by the position and/or acceleration sensor, and a change in the light/dark boundary due to the respective pitch movement can be compensated for by the control unit. The position and/or acceleration sensor and the control unit are arranged in the headlight or directly on the headlight.

  • Patent number: 10906452
Abstract: A control device for a headlight for emitting light according to a headlight signal corresponding to an adjustable light distribution. The control device outputs the headlight signal, corresponding to the adjustable light distribution, to the headlight. The control device has an evaluation unit that determines object position data of the object when particles are detected using a detection unit and a self-illuminating object is detected, and to determine, as a function of the object position data, a region in which the object is located. The evaluation unit also generates data for the light distribution as a function of the region in such a way that a light intensity in the region is reduced or increased with respect to a light intensity outside this region, and correspondingly to determine and output the headlight signal from the data for the light distribution.

  • Patent number: 5743563
Abstract: A web-grabber for use with a safety-belt comprises a housing(5) formed as an extrusion of aluminium. A wedge(13) is located within a central passage(6) within the housing. An additional element(20) is also present within the passage(6) having a first side(21) adapted to abut one of the substantially parallel side walls of the passage(6) and an opposed inclined face(22) along which the wedge(13) may slide. The wedge is adapted to engage wedgingly the webbing(3) of a safety-belt, with a face(14) of the wedge engaging the webbing(3) and pressing it against an opposed element(11) which passes through the passage(6) and which secures the extrusion(5) to a retractor unit(1).
