Abstract: An improved monitoring system is a multifunctional monitoring system for children, women, disabled adults, medical, and military personnel, that combines a tracking device discretely embedded in the footwear of the user that is companioned with a smart phone application which will keep track of the wearer and upon command relay this information to police. The design intent is to quickly and efficiently track the location of a lost or abducted person and alert authorities of their location.
