  • Patent number: 11742715
Abstract: A motor housing (2) has a shaft section to receive a motor shaft (4) and a motor section to receive motor electronics (5) and motor windings (6). The shaft section and the motor section are separated from each other in a sealed manner by a separating pot (7) arranged in the motor housing (2). A metal ball bearing pot (8) with a ball bearing (9) is arranged in the separating pot. The ball bearing pot (8) lies indirectly against a motor housing section that is connected to the outer surroundings, via the separating pot (7). Thus, the motor housing functions as a cooling body. Accordingly, heat generated by the ball bearing (9) during operation is dissipated onto the motor housing and the outer surroundings, via the ball bearing pot (8) and the separating pot (7).

  • Publication number: 20220186722
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a position detection device for determining the position of the diaphragm or the drive piston of an electric-motor-driven diaphragm pump, in particular detecting the upper and lower reversal point (Po, Pu) in the movement curve of the diaphragm of a diaphragm pump operated in an electric-motor-driven manner via eccentric means, wherein a diaphragm actuated by a drive connecting rod closes a conveying chamber with valve means provided on an inlet and outlet side such that the volume can be changed between a minimum and maximum volume, whereby a reciprocating movement of an electric motor having a rotor attached to a shaft is converted into an actuation movement of the drive connecting rod via the effect of the eccentric means, wherein the position detection device has detecting means for detecting the average value position of the rotor shaft, as well as an evaluation device in order to determine at least the position of the upper reversal point of the diaphragm from the average value

  • Publication number: 20220094237
Abstract: An electric motor has a motor casing (2) which has a shaft portion for accommodating a motor shaft (4), and a motor portion for accommodating motor electronics (5) and motor windings (6). The shaft portion and the motor portion are separated from each other in a sealed manner by a can (7) in the motor casing (2). The can (7) has a metal ball bearing housing (8) in which a ball bearing (9) for mounting the motor shaft (4) is fastened, and wherein the ball bearing housing (8), indirectly via the can (7), adjoins, with an intermediate gap, a casing cover (3) that forms part of the motor casing (2). The casing cover (3) acts as a heat sink, and heat generated by the ball bearing (9) during operation is dissipated onto the casing cover and into the outer environment via the ball bearing housing (8) and the can (7).

  • Publication number: 20220085675
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a rotor (1) and an electric motor having the rotor. The rotor is equipped with a permanent magnet (6) extending around an axis of rotation of the rotor, on which a plastic overmolding (3) is provided, which defines a shaft passage (10) for the fastening receptacle of a motor shaft (14) of the electric motor along the axis of rotation, and wherein a press-fit bushing (2), into which the motor shaft can be pressed by a press fit and can be fixed on the rotor, is arranged directly adjoining the shaft passage (10) formed by the plastic overmolding (3).

  • Publication number: 20220034328
Abstract: A radial ventilator (1) has a base part (2), a housing part (4), with a discharge 33, placed on the base part (2), a motor electronics unit (98), and an internal rotor electric motor. The motor drives a ventilator wheel (3) via a shaft (7). The motor electronics unit (98) and a stator (32) of the electric motor are encapsulated by an extrusion coating (17) in the base part (2) and together form an integral one-piece structural unit. The radial ventilator (1) has a pressure chamber (D) enlarging in a spiral shape around the ventilator wheel (3). The pressure chamber (D) is formed and defined by the housing part (4) and the extrusion coating (17).
