Abstract: An animal training and conditioning apparatus comprising a collar, a back strap having a first end and a second end, the first end securably attached to the collar at a point behind the animal's neck, a chest strap having a first end and second end, the first end securably attached to the collar at a point in front of the animal's neck and a weighted vest having an upper portion and a lower portion, the upper portion disposed upon the upper side of the animal's torso and securably attached to the second end of the back strap, the lower portion disposed under the lower side of the animal's torso and securably attached to the second end of the chest strap, the upper portion being adjustable relative to the lower portion to provide for a snug and comfortable fit around the animal's torso.
