  • Patent number: 7975974
Abstract: An adjustable lamp holder has a mounting structure arrayed about a longitudinal axis. A pair of hollow pivot pillars extends from the mounting structure parallel to the longitudinal axis and a receptacle is positioned on the mounting structure parallel to the longitudinal axis and substantially opposite the pivot pillars. A body with a body axis coaxial with the longitudinal axis has a pair of pivots formed thereon for engaging the pivot pillars. A projection is formed on the body substantially opposite the pivots and an angle adjuster, having a proximal end and a distal end, has the proximal end positioned in the projection and the distal end positioned in the receptacle. Movement of the angle adjuster tips the angle of the lamp.

  • Patent number: 6250789
Abstract: A lamp housing assembly is provided wherein clips secured to a lens engage the walls of a trough provided about the periphery of a lamp housing to hold the lens in place relative to the lamp housing until a volume of glue which has been provided within the trough to bond the lens to the trough is cured. Subsequent to curing, the clips remain in place buried within the glue thereby providing an aesthetically pleasing lamp housing assembly. A method for assembling such a lamp housing assembly is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5446632
Abstract: A vehicle headlamp assembly is provided, having an adjustment device for adjusting the position of a lamp unit and wherein in a preferred embodiment the adjustment device is combined with a rotatable recalibration arrangement that includes a position indicator: in the form of a disk member provided with teeth at its periphery and in which the teeth of the disk member are shielded by a wall so as to prevent accidental movement of the disk member when the latter is positioned to indicate the aimed position of the lamp unit in the horizontal plane. Additionally, there is a calibration restrictor that holds the position indicator in the zero ("0") position during initial adjustment of the lamp unit during vehicle assembly.
