  • Publication number: 20230173654
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a power tool (1) driven by an internal combustion engine and comprising a housing (9) and having a service access interface (11) for connecting to an internal control unit of the engine during service. The access interface (11) comprises a connector (21) and an access interface cable, connecting the connector (21) to the control unit. The housing comprises an opening (15), and a grommet (13) is provided configured to clamp the access interface cable or the connector (21). The grommet (13) is configured to be moved between an operating position and a service position. In the operating position, the grommet (13) is located in the opening (15), the access interface cable and connector (21) being fully enclosed in the housing (9), and in the service position, the grommet (13) is located in said notch, the access interface cable or connector (21) extending through the opening inside the grommet (13).

  • Patent number: 11370519
Abstract: A method for performing a sideway displacement of a marine vessel. The marine vessel includes a first and a second propulsion unit, a first and a second rudder respectively associated with the first and the second propulsion units, and a bow thruster. The first and the second propulsion units, the first and the second rudders and the bow thruster are operable via a single driver interface. The method includes the steps of; via the single driver interface operate the first and the second propulsion units and the bow thruster so as to provide a total thrust and set the rudder angles of the first and the second rudders, to thereby steer the displacement of the marine vessel during the sideway displacement.

  • Publication number: 20190202541
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for performing a sideway displacement of a marine vessel (10). The marine vessel (10) comprises a first and a second propulsion unit (26, 27), a first and a second rudder (31, 32) respectively associated with the first and the second propulsion units (26, 27), and a bow thruster (37). The first and the second propulsion units (26, 27), the first and the second rudders (31, 32) and the bow thruster (37) are operable via a single driver interface (22). The method comprises the steps of; via the single driver interface (22) operate the first and the second propulsion units (26, 27) and the bow thruster (37) so as to provide a total thrust and set the rudder angles (?1, ?2) of the first and the second rudders (31, 32), to thereby steer the displacement of the marine vessel (10) during the sideway displacement. The present invention also relates to a marine vessel single driver interface steering arrangement which can be calibrated using the disclosed method.

  • Publication number: 20020038426
Abstract: A computer system is provided for authentication of an individual at a client station (1) seeking access to a server station (2). The client station (1) obtains biometric data from the individual at the client station (1) and supplies the biometric data to the server station (2). The server station compares the biometric data with data from one or more records of enrolled individuals, and if the comparison is successful the server station (2) creates a random password, which is transmitted from the server station (2) to the client station (1). The client station (1) uses the password to authenticate the individual.
