  • Publication number: 20160104082
Abstract: Systems and methods that monitor the movement of a patient through the medical treatment process and collect, process, and display various statistics concerning that movement, while also making suggestions that improve patient flow, providing tools to appropriately revise schedules and templates to make future schedules more efficient. Embodiments of the invention treat each patient visit as a multi-stage process and collect information of interest concerning the various stages of the process, such as arrival time, departure time, etc. The collected data may be used to study the treatment process and how it relates to certain individual patients or classes of patients, as well as, e.g., potentially making recommendations to improve the treatment process, modifying future schedules to increase efficiency, making real time optimizations of patient visits, etc.

  • Publication number: 20150339445
Abstract: Methods and systems to improve the utilization of rented and owned equipment by accurately and automatically monitoring equipment utilization rates and making recommendations for desired utilization rates and optimal inventory levels based on statistical analysis of actual utilization rates. By making usage recommendations, embodiments of the present invention allow users of the inventive system to purchase and maintain appropriate quantities of movable assets, proactively manage equipment rental costs, and reduce equipment costs and inventory liability. In a medical environment, these benefits also include improved availability and access to items needed for patient care.
