  • Patent number: 6744405
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for reconstructing the amplitude/phase diagram of a transmit/receive module for a phased-array antenna. This method includes measurement of amplitude and phase of the amplitude/phase states (a, i), where i=imin . . . imax of an individual amplitude state a; and the measurement of amplitude and phase of the amplitude/phase states (j, b), where j=jmin . . . jmax of an individual phase state b. Reconstruction of the amplitude values of an amplitude state x is accomplished by shifting the measured amplitude values of the amplitude state a by the difference &Dgr;A of the measured amplitude values of both amplitude/phase states (x, b), (a, b), which within the phase state b belong simultaneously to the amplitude state x or the amplitude state a.

  • Publication number: 20020163168
Abstract: A side curtain airbag module is installed in a vehicle roof liner extending in a direction going between the front and rear of the vehicle. The side curtain airbag module has a gas supply device comprising a hose that is connected to a gas generator. The gas supply device extends in a longitudinal direction with respect to the module. A side curtain airbag is located laterally with respect to the gas supply device. The side curtain airbag is folded in a zigzag manner forming layers that extend essentially parallel to a direction in which the side curtain airbag is deployed when the side curtain airbag is inflated with gas. During deployment of the side curtain airbag the entire folded side curtain airbag packet is prevented from being ejected out of the side curtain airbag module at the beginning of the deployment process. An inflated side curtain airbag is provided as soon as the side curtain airbag is deployed into the passenger compartment of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5903192
Abstract: A controlled, saturated high frequency power amplifier, which can be used especially as a transmitting amplifier in a T/R module for a phase-controlled (radar) antenna for the X-band (8 GHz to 12 GHz). In this case, a portion of the HF output signal is utilized to generate a control signal, with which the output power is controlled nearly without loss via at least one gate connection for the HF power amplifier components, preferably, field effect transistors, that are components of the power amplifier. The power amplifier thus has a high degree of transmitting effectiveness, even with a pulsed transmitting operation.
