  • Publication number: 20050183064
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for processing and storing data objects by means of one or more processes running in a computer system. The computer system may have one or more electronic data structures, including benchmark data, formatted to be readable by a SGML-based language. In one implementation, the methods and systems receive one or more of the electronic data structures by electronic means.

  • Publication number: 20050160057
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for processing and storing data objects by means of one or more processes running in a computer system having one or more electronic data structures. The electronic data structures may include benchmark definitions and may be in a format readable by a SGML-based language. In one exemplary implementation, the methods and systems present one or more of the electronic data structures to second parties by electronic means.

  • Publication number: 20050119861
Abstract: An electronic data structure comprises benchmark information and an authorizing section for access to said benchmark information. A method processes and stores data objects by means of one or more processes running in a computer system having one or more of the electronic data structures. A request for benchmark information is received from a second party, the request including identification information of the second party. The benchmark information is analyzed to determine whether it contains in its electronic data structures and whether the authorizing section of the electronic data structure includes the identification information. Based on the determination, the benchmark information is presented to the second party.

  • Publication number: 20050033631
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing benchmark services to customers. The services may be provided through a benchmark provider. The benchmark provider may build a benchmark database based on data collected from customers and/or third party sources. The submission of benchmark data can be made optional to the customer and, thus, not a requirement to receive service(s) from the benchmark provider. In addition, the benchmark database may be built as a comprehensive database, such that it is well-populated and provides benchmark data for many or all types of functional areas (e.g., FIN, CRM, SCM, SRM, HR, etc.), industries and/or sizes of companies. Offers for benchmark services may be presented to customers and specific service(s) may be provided in accordance with the service election(s) made by each customer.

  • Publication number: 20050022118
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for creating book text structures. Such methods and systems may be implemented for generating updated book versions. In one embodiment, the method may comprise creating, on a client front-end computer, a book text structure by generating layout templates, and receiving, on a database server unit containing a collection of logical units, a request from the client front-end computer for data to be allocated to the layout templates. The method may also include interpreting template structure data that is requested, selecting required data based on the logical units, assigning layout templates to book chapters, retrieving required data and inserting the retrieved data in a book chapter structure, and generating a markup language file on the basis of the chapter structure containing the retrieved data. Further, the method may include importing, on the client front-end computer, the generated markup language file and converting the same into a print format file.

  • Publication number: 20030182337
Abstract: A method, system and computer product for risk evaluation. A computer assigns a risk to an object. The object has an object measure-value and the risk has at least one threat level. The computer receives a probability of the at least one threat level. The probability refers to the object. The computer calculates the object measure-value by using the probability of the at least one threat level and by using a deviation-value that corresponds to the at least one threat level and relates to the object.

  • Publication number: 20030154150
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer products are provided for risk evaluation. A computer may assign a risk to an object which has an object estimation-value. The computer may also receive a risk estimation-value for the risk. The computer may re-calculate the object estimation-value based on the risk estimation-value.
