  • Publication number: 20180223510
Abstract: A connecting device for coupling a tubular member having on one end an outer shoulder or flange, in particular an inlet piping of a water supply electric control valve for a washing machine, to a threaded tubular port, in particular an outlet port of a water supply line or tap. The device includes a nut and a coupling ring interposed between the tubular member and the second end portion of the nut for connecting them to one another. The coupling ring is resiliently deformable in a radial direction mounted around the tubular member, in proximity of the end shoulder or flange thereof, such as to be prevented by the end shoulder or flange from being moved away from the tubular member, but to be allowed to freely rotate around the tubular member.

  • Patent number: 9825892
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for personalized and context-aware processing of a message generation request are described herein. Initially a message generation request from the portable electronic device to the operating system is intercepted. Next values corresponding to a plurality of context parameters are received. The values include a personal preference of a user. Next the message generation request is processed, based on the values of the context parameter and the message generation request, to obtain a message. Finally the message is sent to the portable electronic device. The message to the portable electronic device is displayed based on the values corresponding to the plurality of context parameters.

  • Publication number: 20040262383
Abstract: An access portal separates an unpaid side of a controlled entry barrier from a paid side. The portal comprises a vestibule connecting the paid and unpaid sides of the controlled entry barrier. A first door separates the vestibule from the unpaid side of the controlled entry barrier and a second door separates the vestibule from the paid side of the controlled entry barrier. A fare collection box is positioned at the unpaid side. A controller is operably connected to the fare collection box. The controller, upon receiving an indication of a collected fare, monitors for a further indication of a collected fare.
