Abstract: A device for sealing an opening in a structural member and/or for sealing a plurality of openings in overlapping members, or for hanging an object on a wall. The device includes a deformable member having a substantially cylindrical stem and a flange at a first end of the stem. In some embodiments the deformable member is constructed of a compressible material that has good sealing capabilities. The stem is configured to extend through at least one opening in the at least one structural member such that the flange abuts a surface of the structural member. A reinforcing sleeve extends around the stem and provides a protective barrier between the at least one structural member and the stem. The sleeve may be constructed of a relatively hard and durable material such as a polymer, a metal or a ceramic. In some embodiments the sleeve is substantially cylindrical with at least one tab extending from a lower end thereof. In some other embodiments the sleeve includes a flange at an upper end.
