Abstract: Transparent structure comprising a first material having a high first transparency with a scattering property and a second material having a high second transparency, wherein the first and second materials are arranged in a plane with a normal vector and a view through the structure is given in the direction of the normal vector, the structure having a peripheral region, which is configured at least for the most part such that light propagating in the structure at least approximately perpendicular to the normal vector is reflected from the peripheral region back into the structure, and wherein the scattering property is such that light propagating perpendicular to the normal vector by the structure is deflected at least partially to the direction of the normal vector. In addition, a display device, a household appliance and a method for producing a transparent structure are disclosed.

Abstract: According to one aspect a detergent drawer for a washing machine is disclosed, the detergent drawer comprising a linear guiding, a first holder for a detergent container, a second holder for a front plate and a front plate arranged at the second holder, wherein the linear guiding provides a displacement of a movable portion of the detergent drawer relatively to the washing machine and at least approximately perpendicular to an operating panel of the washing machine in a direction of motion, wherein the detergent drawer has a driving mechanism configured to automatically open the detergent drawer using a mechanically generated force when a user applies a pushing force to the front plate and then releases the front plate.

Abstract: A panel for a domestic appliance having a rotary switch, the rotary switch having a rotary element, a latching ring, at least one latching element and a rotation axis about which the rotary element rotates relative to the latching ring, wherein the latching ring has at least one latching lug on its inner face, said latching lug projecting radially toward the center the latching ring, wherein the latching element is held on the rotary element and is prestressed radially outward against the inner face of the latching ring, wherein the rotary element and the latching ring are arranged along the rotation axis, and wherein the latching ring is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the panel. A corresponding domestic appliance having a panel is also disclosed.
