Abstract: A method for opening cigarettes constituting cigarette waste in a device comprising a rotational drum (1) the inner wall of which is provided with at least one scraping away element (2, 2?, 2?) extending generally along the drum, and at least one rotational beater (4, 4?, 4?) located inside the drum (1) striking against the cigarettes, wherein the cigarettes fed into the rotating drum (1) and being lifted by means of at the least one scraping away element (2, 2?, 2?) and falling by gravity, are struck against by means of the at least one rotational beater (4, 4?, 4?) in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axes of the cigarettes with a force enabling their opening. Abstract: Method for arranging rod-like elements including cigarette parts such as filter and tobacco parts, in which elements are delivered to a conveyor having successive sectors which arrange the elements in separate rows along the conveyor. The type, number and location of element transported on the conveyor are determined by at least a single scanning of each successive element on the conveyor. The scanned results are transmitted to a control unit which assigns each sector of the conveyor information according to its contents. The elements are subsequently sorted based on the information received by the control unit according to the type and the number of parts each element is composed of, the orientation of these parts in relation to the direction of movement of the conveyor. Each of the successive elements is transferred to a predetermined receiving area based on the information received from the control unit.

Abstract: Method and system for arranging rod-like elements, in which an unordered portion of rod-like elements, composed each of at least one part selected from cigarette parts being filter parts and tobacco parts, is delivered to a conveyor which arranges the elements on the conveyor in a plurality of compartments, longitudinally in each compartment and transversely to the direction of movement of the conveyor. The compartments have a length which receives at least one filter part and at least one tobacco part of a cigarette. The type, number and location of parts of the element received in each compartment is defined by at least a single scanning of each successive compartment of the conveyor. The result of the scanning is transmitted to a control unit and the elements are subsequently sorted based on information received from the control unit.

Abstract: Present invention relates to the method and apparatus for removing a plastic film from packages, where packages covered by the plastic film are introduced to the first transport path characterized in that an sorbent (12) is introduced to the second transport path. Next the sorbent (12) is heated to the flow temperature of the plastic that is removed, in particular plastics from the polyolefin's group. Afterwards within the common part of the first and second transport path (2) of the separating device the sorbent (12) is mixed with transported packages (11) covered with a plastic film. A sieve (8) of the separating device directs sorbent (12) covered by absorbed plastic to the removing path (6,9), while packages (11) free from plastic film are directed towards the exit gate (4) of the separating device.
