Patent number: 8550301Abstract: This disclosure relates to a liquid dispensing apparatus for dispensing a liquid from a flexible bag. The apparatus has a support for supporting the flexible bag in use and a mounting adapted for receiving a proximal portion of the flexible bag, for progressive movement relative to the support towards an outlet located at a distal portion of the flexible bag. As the flexible bag is progressively wound up, liquid is squeezed from the proximal portion to the distal portion to dispense liquid from the outlet in a controlled manner in use. This allows desired and precise dosage portions of liquid to be squeezed from the bag and direct dosing from the flexible bag amongst other advantages.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2009Date of Patent: October 8, 2013Inventor: Marek Szymanski

Patent number: 8151695Abstract: An automated belt cooking machine (10) for pancakes and the like food products has upper and lower overlapping, thermally conductive belts (12, 14), counter-rotatably mounted to a frame (16) so that, in use, a bottom run (30) of the upper belt (12) and a top run (32) of the lower belt (14) co-operate to convey food (40) to be cooked. The lower belt (14) extends a predetermined distance to one side of the upper belt (12) so as to provide a dispensing platform portion (38) for dispensing thereon the food to be cooked (40), so that the food (40) is conveyed towards a mouth (52) formed between the upper belt and lower belts (12, 14) and thereafter is conveyed sandwiched between the bottom and top run (30, 32). Upper and lower heating platens (26,28) are mounted to the frame (16) and are in thermal contact with the bottom and top run (30, 32), wherein the food to be cooked (40) is initially exposed to heat from the lower platen (28) conducted through the dispensing platform portion (38).Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2007Date of Patent: April 10, 2012Inventor: Marek Szymanski

Publication number: 20060283280Abstract: An industrial truck has a multi-function lever for control of the movement of a load handling attachment (4) of the industrial truck. The multi-function lever has a handle element (12). The handle element (12) is essentially immobile and at least one sensor is associated with the handle element (12) for measurement of an actuation force that is exerted on the handle element (12) and/or of an actuation moment that is exerted on the handle element (12). The sensor is effectively connected with an electrical control device of the industrial truck. The control device is realized so that the speed of the movement of the load handling attachment (4) is set as a function of the magnitude of the actuation force and/or of the magnitude of the actuation moment.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2006Publication date: December 21, 2006Applicant: STILL GmbHInventors: Marek Szymanski, Roland Tiedemann

Patent number: 5618230Abstract: A device for cutting up the wings of poultry bodies into their component parts is described. The device comprises a saddle conveyor for receiving the poultry bodies in the form of front halves with wings. The wings are engaged and synchronously accompanied by auxiliary conveyors and guided into a guide system where they are cut up by means of "anatomic" cuts, i.e. cuts running through the joints. The device is adapted to by integrated into a processing line for filleting breast meat or the like.Type: GrantFiled: January 2, 1996Date of Patent: April 8, 1997Assignee: Nordischer Maschinenbau Rud. Patent number: 5542879Abstract: The invention concerns a method and apparatus for preparing for detaching meat from the extremities of a slaughtered animal, particularly the legs of poultry. In this method, the meat is initially at least partially detached from the bone structure at the rear side of the extremity from its proximal end to its distal end to form a cavity and then the meat layer surrounding the bone structure is cut open with an incision made from the outside of the extremity towards the cavity. The partial detachment of meat is performed by a curved spike-shaped element, which is inserted between the muscle meat and bone in the region of the proximal end of the extremity and advanced through the extremity along the rear side of the bone structure up to the distal end. The spike-shaped element subsequently serves as a counter support for a knife, which is guided from outside to cut open the meat layer surrounding the bone structure.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 1995Date of Patent: August 6, 1996Assignee: Nordischer Maschinenbau Rud. Baader GmbH + Co KGInventors: Helmut Kunig, Marek Szymanski
