Abstract: There is described a method, system and computer program product for processing a link embedded in a link document in a client computer, said link comprises a URL reference for a URL document in the client computer or another computer, there being stored a record containing a link reference and an intended fingerprint, said intended fingerprint representing the content of the URL document associated with the URL of the link at the time of or after the link was created, said method comprising the steps of: fetching the intended fingerprint for the link; fetching the URL document; creating a current fingerprint of the fetched URL document; comparing the intended fingerprint and the current fingerprint; and identifying that the intended fingerprint and the current fingerprint are different in a material way.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer program products for dynamic generation of forms on devices such as mobile telephones. A device user enters a form descriptor code comprising a set of alphanumeric characters. A form generator applies stored mappings between the input characters and a set of electronic form components. This identifies required form components. The form generator dynamically generates an electronic form having the identified components, and displays the form on a display screen of the device. The device user completes the form and sends the completed form to a target data processing system. The dynamic generation of a form in response to a simple input code can be used to control the format of user-entered data, such that the data is validly formatted when received at the target.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for allowing an email request to be sent to a group of recipients which requires one person to accept the request or task. Obtaining notification of the acceptance and completion status of the task is accomplished solely through exchanged emails, without the use of standalone tracking or modification to the underlying email system functionality. One responder emails are sent to a group of recipients, and when an accepting recipient accepts the request, the sender and non-accepting recipients are notified via email that the request has been accepted. Similarly, emails can be sent to the sender and non-accepting recipients that the request has been completed.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for processing a URL (uniform resource location) request containing a URL for an intended URL document, comprising: retrieving fingerprint information relating to the URL request; identifying that the intended URL document is not the current document located at the URL; locating current fingerprint information which matches the retrieved fingerprint and has a corresponding URL document; and returning the corresponding URL document in answer to the request.
